Gearing Up To Get Going

If you’re like me, you are trying to step into a whole new world, which is as exciting as it is terrifying. There are a lot of questions I’ve been asking myself about diving into a Virtual Assisting. Am I ready to be my own boss? Am I disciplined to work on my own? What do I offer to the field that no one else does? What do I need to do to make this into a career? These are all really big and scary thoughts. And it’s okay to have those thoughts, you just have to reason them out. This is what I’ve come up with so far. Am I ready to be my own boss? Yes. I am aware that it will be hard, but I think it will be rewarding. Am I disciplined? Honestly, I’ve worked in a big business for a long time and for the last half I’ve had managers who didn’t micromanage. On a day-to-day basis, I’ve been lucky enough to be able to manage my own day.
